Myth: The swine flu viruses that spread only among pigs. Fact: Swine flu does spread among pigs but also among human and both the flu are diffrent from one another. These viruses “drift” genetically, which is why the flu vaccine has to be tweaked from time to time. Myth: I have the flu shot, I am protected against Swine Flu. Fact: The normal seasonal flu shot offers no protection against this new virus. H1N1 flu shot needs to be taken to be protected from this virus. Nepal government is taking seriously for the prevention and avoiding the spread of Swine Flu virus.
